CREW BIOS:

Director – Erik E. Crown is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, focusing on eco and animal rights-based projects. He began working in production at the age of 13 with his father’s production company and becoming a professional film editor at age 16. He attended New York University where he studied film. Erik has worked on a variety of independent and Hollywood projects, including NBC’s “Scrubs”, and “TMZ”. After learning he has an incurable cancer that cannot be treated, he changed his focus to documentary filmmaking, driven to investigate the environment that had made him sick. He has made documentaries investigating illegal pet trade in the Amazon Rainforest, Illegal fishing in South China, and corporate waste pollution causing cancer in the US. He is certified in plastic pollution management from the United Nations Environmental Program, and aside from his work in documentary, he runs a weekly podcast examining international issues called “The Conservation Conversation”.

Composer – Bryan Lemus is a musician who has been playing the keyboards since he was 7 years old. He recently graduated from the Musicians Institute based in Los Angeles, CA and is currently working as a full time Musician. While attending Musicians Institute, he studied with keyboardist Russel Ferrante of The Yellow Jackets, Lisa Harriton (smashing pumpkins), and recording engineer Darryl Swann (Macy gray). He is a versatile musician who already has an impressive resume which includes working with Atlantic artists Newboys, Flo Rida and is currently in the studio with American Idol judge and producer, Randy Jackson.

Music by – Justin Crown began playing music at age 13, starting with the bass guitar. He soon started playing guitar, mandolin, banjo, and began playing shows at age 15. He has been a studio session player on many albums recorded in Maryland and has played live with various artists such as Willie Nelson and Dirk Hamilton. Justin has scored a few documentaries with his brother, Erik Crown, and he is looking forward to the next one.

Associate Producer – Micah Goldberg, although not having a background in film, Micah was a crucial part in helping Erik complete the film.

Assistant Editor – Marty was Erik’s dog and long-time companion of 11 years, assisting him and keeping him company while he edited the film.
